As part of my work I train people in the 'art' of programming and data analysis. Here an overview of the people I trained in their master or bachelor. Also the course I have taught and an estimate on the number of people who participated. 

Master Students

2013 - Yalan Bi (9 months) - University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands - Working on a research project involving alternative splicing in A. thaliana
2011 - Konrad Zych (6 months) - Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland - Working on a research project to develop software for genetic map construction supported by an Erasmus scholarship.
2011 - Kotaro Nishiyama (4 months) - Osaka University, Osaka, Japan - Working on a research project involving 'Big Data' analysis of gene expressions.
